Handcrafting Each Piece
This dedication reflects our intention to convey the love and inspiration we receive from life and nature to our users.
While wood is the primary material we work with, we explore various other mediums to better express the emotions and inspirations drawn from life. These diverse materials not only bring our creations to life but also demonstrate our expertise in working with a wide range of materials.
Materials Used:

Wood: Cutting raw wood, CNC crafting, removing excess, and fine sanding.

Other Materials: Felted wool, papier-mâché, Kozo paper, fabric (including copper), 3D printing, etc.

1. Before using the CNC machine to create the initial form, the raw wood is cut to the appropriate size.

3. After the CNC initial form is completed, it undergoes robotic sanding, followed by fine hand sanding.
4. The image shows the assembled ram's head after completing the previous steps, being coated with natural wood oil.

5. Using 3D printing to create the light carrier, which forms the internal structure of each lighting piece.
6. Using homemade papier-mâché combined with cedar wood shavings to create the texture on the surface of the mushroom.

7. Using premium wool felt ordered from Australia, we wrap the body, after 3D printing and installing electronic components, with wet felting to achieve the texture of the sheep's body surface.
8. Using Kozo paper produced by a paper studio in Taiwan and washi paper purchased in Kyoto, we hand-tear and piece together the paper to cover the tree crowns on the mountaintop.
9. Each dandelion leaf is hand-painted and sewn from two types of fabric. Red copper wire is sewn inside to allow users to adjust the shape of the leaves, and each leaf is finished with hand-stitching.

Circuitry and Assembly
Our interactive lighting is a hallmark of our brand. Each piece's circuit is hand-soldered, and the assembly is completed by every member of our studio. This process infuses each creation with our heartfelt intentions, giving every piece its unique soul.
Signing and Numbering Each Finished Piece
Once a lighting piece is complete, it is personally branded by Dozen, marking our commitment to the product. Each piece is assigned a unique number and production year, ensuring that while our creations may seem similar, each one is truly one-of-a-kind.
Packaging
Before packaging, each product undergoes a final inspection and testing. We aim to deliver our heartfelt care to every user, ensuring that our work conveys the same sentiment whether it’s a personal purchase or a thoughtful gift.
